Established in 1997 under the VLB Trust as Sri Krishna Arts and Science College, the institution has been transformed into Sri Krishna Knowledge Foundation (Deemed-to-be University) pursuant to the Ministry of Education, Government of India, Notification No. 9-20/2025-U.3(A), dated May 19, 2026.
